I bought the Age of Empires collection on Steam sale, Age of Empires II HD with expansion, and Age of Empires 3 with expansion for £7.49. quite fun playing 2 again, to me the HD upgrades seems more effective than the Age of Mythology HD upgrade, which kinda sucked. 3 seems like fun, I quite like the card deck system. bit too zoomed in for me, even when you change the settings to 'very far' I would prefer a wider view. the menu at the bottom takes up too much screen as well, should be smaller. the first campaign mission on malta is useless as well, gives you no clue what your objectives are. skirmish was quite fun though.

Got a pre patched copy of Alpha Centuari last week off GOG and played through a full campaign Saturday.
Still plays better than civ 5
