I imagine its more fun with other people, and once they've implemented more stuff and places, but as a basic survival and building game with a bit of combat and flight its not bad.
My ship may or may not look like a armed space shuttle with red go faster stripes.

It may or may not now be a cut down up armed and armoured space shuttle clone after getting shot full of plasma last night

Capital ship construction starts tonight.

Got to the moon and back.
Mined a chunk of Neodymium, and some other metal. Got holes shot in my ship by a plasma cannon. Safely made it back to my planetary base though got shot up again on re-entry by some alien spaceport defences. Next step is to make a capital ship, and EXACT MY IMPERIAL VENGEANCE AGAINST THE XENOS AND TRAITOR SCUM WOT PUT HOLES IN MY SHIP.

You clearly knew what I meant though.
I landed on a hostile space station last night and blew bits of it up. Hence the second set of holes in my ship and its extra armour.
Tonight true vengeance will arrive Bwahahaha

Vengeance was mine. I shot up a Xenos space station and base. Cost me my spotlights.

Capital ship building is hard. Keep running out of Iron and Cobalt ores. And my ship currently(WIP) looks like the back end of a corellien corvette with a pilot's seat stuck to it.

Started Saints Row 3 again, needed a male character for the achievement plus had been watching a co-op playthrough. Still fun. Clothing options don't feel as good on a male though.
