You know how the Dark Elder are supposed to be lightly armoured fast moving and sleek looking and then the Incubi come along looking all hefty with their 3+ armour saves or how the majority of the Imperial Guard forces are mostly human based and the Orgryn's trapse into the army list and stick out like a saw thumb and lets nopt even mention ...... (vespid)......

I was just wondering if you guys could think of any other units that stand out like the black sheep of their respective army lists? Did you have any favorite distant cousins who no one likes to talk about at the family gatherings.

Centurions in a SM list...? They have odd squad sizes (do the other 4 devastators/assault marines just go on holiday or something during the battle?), have no veteran versions and just look plain odd next to the other SM units.

Ogryn and Ratlings serve specific purposes and aren't seen outside those. That said, a full unit of Ogryn with a Lord Commissar cheering them forward can really cause some trouble. Ratlings are cheap snipers (BS4) that can really cause MC's some havoc.

Edit: as for units, i would go with Flash Gitz, They're shooty nobz that just don't give enough back for what you pay for, and they're in the Heavy Support slot so they compete with Big Gunz, Battlewagonz, Big Squiggoths, etc...
