Tau Plasma Shield Generator (Void shield Generator) project

I'm contemplating how to make a Tau Void Shield Generator. I think I've decided to start with this as the base model.

I want to turn it into a very Tau-ish looking building, Lots of curves, no straight or jagged corners. This is the basic idea.



Size: 6"h x 4w x 3.25"d sphere

What do you think? Have any recommendations before I get to work?

Honestly when I think void shield generator and Tau, I think of the pack beasts in Star Wars Episode 1. Maybe mount that on the back of a kroot Knarloc?
