I've always pictured the Anvil Shield as being more rough-looking than a regular storm shield, too ... the phrase "slab of obstinite" makes me think of him wielding a rough-hewn slab of black rock as a shield.

WHen I did mine, I did some quite heavy converting of the Darnath Lysander model. It's pretty good especially if you don't want the other terminators.

If you wanted to do some converting and such then I think that Commander Cullin would be a great start (Forgeworld) then add wolf parts. I like NAb's idea about a rough looking Shield, don't just stick a standard storm shield for that one. Actually you could look at using some Chaos Warrior shields, and filing off the chaos marks.

Since Anjac throws it ala Thor, you could take a Thunderhammer and shorten the handle for a fat mace look.

I was going to cut a 2nd Logan Grimnar I have, repin his axe arm with magnets, then put TH bits on his axe blades. Then a large shield maybe 3rd Party Chaperhouse Shield on the other arm, or look thru WHfb,or Lotr for kool shield to make it look more Viking like with wood. I don't like non viking Scots style SW crap now.
