Wall of Matyrs Imperial Bunker

Hey folks.

You may have seen this on my Swamp Board thread (can't remember/be bothered to check) but I've updated the mud around the front of the bunker and added some extra details.




The main feature I've updated is the skull/wings detail, painted in silver/iron metallics. I started with a grey base, washed with blue. I then added progressive highlights of silvers to leave some cracks and recesses showing. The pictures don't really do it justice, but I'm happy with it.




As Stronghold Assault lets you take upgrades, I finally got round to assembling the Quad Autocannon that's been sitting in my bitz box. Nothing fancy, a straight build. As I can take the emplacement without the bunker, I built the base as well.

Although I 'mudded' over most of the skulls/skeletons/debris most people disliked on the WoM kits, I did leave a few strategically placed pieces showing. As you can see I've done the bones and the helmet on the front. Still need to work on the Jerry cans and ammunition boxes on the back.

And this shot kinda happened by accident, so I though I'd post it!
