It's only unfortunate (as a name) if you have the misfortune to only ever know one language (and an ad-hoc melange of anglo-saxon/romantic one at that).

No, it's unfortunate if you happen to speak the language that it's unfortunate in, regardless of your knowledge of other languages. One of the dangers of translations, and it's the reason why media adaptions often change names. And the number of languages you speak is not a quantifier if your personal value, either.

Just because someone can make the rather obvious observation that a word in a foreign language is similar to another in a more common language doesn't indicate they know fewer languages. Quite the opposite actually.

The Left4Dead cover is a good counter example. The American release had a zombie hand on the cover making a gesture that was totally innocent in the USA, but obscene in other countries. As a result, they changed the cover for foreign releases. No big deal, and no judgement on the other countries for somehow being intolerant of American culture.

Nice. I knew they were coming because of posts in the Infinity forums but the picture is nice. They look pretty awesome and I'm warming up to the idea of eventually building a CA force one day.
