I think the most intresting part is a minute in where he mentions they've been writing/pre production for 5 YEARS!

Yea I was pretty impressed that they had been prewriting for 5 years too. NOt only that but I love that he says that they started with a high class holywood screenwriter only to fire him because he had no understanding of the 40k Universe.

This interview gives me some hope that the movie will be pretty good, especially with Abnett at the helm

Technically, as script writer, Dan Abnett would be the navigator. The director would be the person at the helm.
