Totally went for it.
I know I'll never get it, because ultimately I fear it'll go to one of the guys who's at head office who they like already and who will agree with everything the high lords of terra say rather than challenging them.
Not because I think they're bad people or anything, just because that's what happens when a business gets about this big and it takes a really innovative and intelligent mind to realise and fix the problem. And GW have done that once already, that's about par.
Still, I went for it.
I encourage everyone else who really cares and wants change to happen to do the same.
Just think about what a positive impact this role could actually have, if one of us got it we could canvas thousands of potential customers and gather viable survey data right here, it's a pretty solid plan.

Sadly, not the right career path for me, but if they ever want to pay me my current salary and benefits to write code for them, I'd do it happily =D
