    Default Hey there

So as a long time gamer who never played Warhammer 40k, not because I wasn't interested just never had anyone around who already did, recently a buddy got me into it.

I've jumped in with both feet and have started building my first army, a Guard light infantry company. I've bitten off a lot and have 3 battleforces at various stages of paint and construction.

I'm working on getting everything magnetized as I go and at plan to just get everything to table top ready and then go back and do all the detailing. I'd like to share the first unit I've completed to TTR. The Walker support troop for my light infantry.

I'm from Canada and plan for my Guard to make use of Space Wolves allies so I've chosen a fairly cold friendly colour scheme for my army. The painting is a little rough as it's been 30 years since I've done any modelling but here they are.

These first shots show all three Sentinels and then the magnets on either side for weapons and accessories.

I'm not always happy with the quality of my painting and I think my next purchase is an airbrush, but the magnetization is working out nicely. I've got some metal coloured dry erase boards that go nicely with my colours and with magnets in the bases of the walkers and infantry, packing my regiment around shouldn't be too hard.

The plan for the infantry includes having arm swaps available for the leaders and as many troops as needed to allow full use of every option. I've gotten a hold of extra kneeling legs and will be doing five lasguns kneeling in my front rank with most of the back rank able to swap out weapon choices as required.

With the heavy weapons squads I've got extra bases and bodies so I can do a mortar base, a tripod base with 3 options and the missile team on small bases with the missile loader able to swap arms to go back to being just another lasgunner.

The special weapons squad has half lasgunner and half arm swaps so I've got all those options covered too.

I'm looking forward to getting the rest of my army ready to play so I can start work on all the touch-ups and detailing.

    Good gaming everyone.

Hello, come to the oubliette we have new tangents

    I really need some sentinals

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!
