    wow they are amazing, though you might want to take photo's of them against a white backdrop so we can see the great paintjobs you have done a bit better....

    Thanks!

    I might try white again, but I always felt like it blew out my paint jobs w/ too much reflected light

    hmm, perhaps blue then, I notice a lot of the profesional photographers use blue in their portreits....

    I keep getting reminded (like now) that I want to try a nice mottled grey backdrop, but then keep forgetting to get one (like when I go to an art store)...

    I think the black works with this to give an air of the gene stealers pouncing out from the shadows. Really nicely painted, with a real sense of 'something terrifying coming out of the shadows to eat you' about them!

    -Tom-, yeah, I started using black b/c of the issue with my white backdrop blowing out the images, but stuck with it b/c it was atmospheric for Malifaux stuff (which also happened to look nice on those Genestealers).
