    Default Forest Goblin Spider Army

Well after some trading with a friend yesterday I now find myself with a most unusual Fantasy army:

    2 Arachnarok Spiders
    90 Spider Riders with Spear/Shield
    20 Spider Riders with Spear/Shield/Shortbow
    20 Night Goblin Archers
    20 Night Goblin Spearmen
    4 Spear Chukkas + crew

As I haven't played Fantasy in a couple years I have little knowledge of what I'm, doing, lol. I could get a third Arachnarok, but only if I can make the list work. Here's my initial list:

    Lords
    Goblin Great Shaman 575
-Level 4, 50 pts of magic items
    Arachnarok Spider
    -Catchweb Spidershrine

    Heroes
    Snagla Grobspit 115

    Goblin Shaman 92
    -Dispel Scroll, Giant Wolf-Spider

    Goblin Big Boss 96
-Great Weapon, Light Armor, Giant Spider, BSB, 15 points for a Banner

    Goblin Big Boss 56
-Great Weapon, Light Armor, Giant Spider

    Goblin Big Boss 56
-Great Weapon, Light Armor, Giant Spider

    Core
    30 Spider Riders 420
    -Command

    30 Spider Riders 420
    -Command

    30 Spider Riders 420
    -Command

    10 Deff Creepas 150
    -Musician, Short Bows

    Special
    4 Bolt Chukkas 140

    Rare
2 Goblin Stone Throwers 170 (converted from Arachnarok sprues)

    Arachnarok Spider 290

    TOTAL: 3,000

This isn't designed to be super competitive, as you can see. Fantasy tournaments in my area died out long ago, along with the remainder of Fantasy players. This will be a fun list to play with my pals over a few beers; nothing more. I just don't want to get tabled

I like the list so far, but I feel like I could use smaller units for flanking and warmachine hunting. Does anyone have experience with Snagla? Is he a decent buy? The Ambush rules seem okay, but i think it's too many points for a fragile disruption unit. I may swap him and his unit out for 3 or 4 5-man units with bows.

Is 30 Spiders too many for a unit? They are really expensive for how fragile they are, but I want to stick to a spider theme here so I would like them to be the vast majority of my core. I want to stay away from Orcs where possible. I could do 5 units of 20 or something. What configuration would you not want to see across the table?

I would also like to have a Goblin Warboss on a Gigantic Spider if at all possible. Is there a commonly accepted build for such a model? This may not happen with the Arachnarok in the lords section, but I want to keep my options open.

Looks pretty solid to me tbh. Also love the idea for the converted stone throwers.
