Worked on this guy for a while, the concept was that even in war something beautiful can make you stop for a moment, and Emperors Children fit perfectly.

I totally got your meaning the second I saw it, it was definitely within my top 3 favourites when I went! Glad I could actually tell you. Again, great job!

I think the best thing about this is that their appreciation of such things is, in their case, a sign of their doom to corruption rather than a sign of hope as it would be seen in most settings. In 30/40k, what we would see as a sign of humanity and goodness is to them a sign of falling to the most depraved of all powers in the galaxy.
