Bright green has been the goto for a while now with the micromaster combiner from 2004 and guys like Scavenger from Armada. Trying to figure out if it's just lighting, time, or if the greens have really changed is hard though

I think it's fairly telling of Hasbro's relationship with their fandom that Devastator's already in the Hater's Gonna Hate pose.

What're you talking about? Tfwiki is a delightful place where nobody pretends Transformers is something to be treated seriously. I don't think there's an example of the sexist or gender bashing humor that is typically associated with frat boy humor. Oh, and racism. Serious lack of racism.
It's a very self aware expression of the fandom (holy crap see G1 Wheelie's page) and I don't think there's anything especially offensive on it. Well, there's the stuff from the movies but they spend a lot of time explaining why it's offensive and wondering how these things happened in a movie aimed at selling toys.
