I'm pretty okay with the ladies being from another planet, if only because it implies something has gone wrong on Cybertron. There used to be ladies, thus everyone knowing gendered pronouns, but something has happened and it doesn't produce them anymore. I think it's a symptom of a big event sized problem we likely won't learn about until after the whole Alpha Trion thing gets resolved.


On Windblade #4, why was it you? Why did it have to be you; ;

I spotted the otherday while on Yahoo an article that one of the concept artists on Transformers 4 had blogged on his site concept artwork he did for the film, it included a picture of a female Deception called Widowmaker....

Sadly I can't find the bloody aritcle again but I'm sure if you google it you'll find it, it was by some eastern sounding guy, hi9s name seemed to ring a bell with me, but I can't quite place where damn it....

I spotted the otherday while on Yahoo an article that one of the concept artists on Transformers 4 had blogged on his site concept artwork he did for the film, it included a picture of a female Deception called Widowmaker....

Widowmaker was an earlier version of Stinger, the red Bumblebee clone.


A like some of the elements of the design, she would've been wasted as one of the nameless prototype 'bots under Galvatron's control. Hope they work her in to future transformers stuff. I don't think it was the intention, but it'd be kinda cool if her turret/tail could alternate between the two modes seen - shoulder-mounted turret for aiming/recoil control, prehensile tail for slashing. Personally, I'd de-emphasize the ro-boobs a leetle bit.
