    Last time I was at new gale, was just after the flooding/storms, so the main road was unpassable as the stones from the beach had been pushed back, and a petrified forest had been revealed.

    oh yes - except the last evening, when we went to Solva for a "farewell supper" of sorts, and I literally bit a bullet... didn't know "free range chicken" meant they had to be shot with a rifle...
