'Nid Hunters' IG Army

To be perfectly honest I don’t hop onto BoLS Lounge very often, but when I do I find another excellent IG army log. I’d like to add my contribution with my IG Nid Hunters.

I’ve been slowly painting this army since the beginning of 4th edition; which has seen a lot of changes and additions, as well as quality of work.

Here is basically the list I took to BoLS Con 2009 where I won 2nd Best General.

I have very mixed feelings about this army.....

The Good...
-Very well painted
-Very "Authentic" fell
-Apparently very effective if you won at BoLScon!!

The Bad
- Its an Inquisition-based IG army dedicated to cleansing Tyranid scum.....which is exactly what I have been working on >.< Right down nid skulls and entrails on the tanks =( Well so maybe I am not that original but to be honest I doubt my army is going to look half as good as yours

haha thanks man! I stole the idea from the Catachan Codex where they featured the "Swamp Rats" Regiment who covered themselves with Tyranid Icur (sp?) to mask their sent from the Lictures they hunted in the jungle.

Have you noticed that the new Trygon sprew has THREE head crests!??! I cannot wait to cover my tanks with them/kill lots of Tyranids when their codex comes out…

nice idea i love the troops but the tanks have a little too much Nid stuff for my taste

it's not their fault they are so good at killin Nids! haha thanks guys, hope to have more pics soon. There is a painting contest at my local store, and I'd like to do up some more IG models.
