For myself, I'm going with House Hawkwood pseudo-mercenaries, in that while they are loyal to the Imperium and will fight alongside any Imperial army, they have the clout to demand payment in return, and will occasionally fight alongside my Tau or Eldar if the money is good enough. They are a brother/sister team who take turns piloting the knight and providing technical support.

Gonna have to buy an even dozen. Cannot decide between a couple of household ideas, so I will just have to do both.

Yes, super excited. To the point I may sell my Eldar. I want this to be my next army and having my display cabinet filled with 6-9 of these bad boys is my goal.

The one thing I want to know is how reliable are the rumors that you can take them as their own codex?

Eh... whatever. Not sure what to make of it actually. The rules seem have them geared towards Escalation and Apoc, both 2 "formats" I don't play at all.

And it wouldn't make sense to have them in a Daemon army anyway.

I'm very excited. The Knight codex could be what gets me back into regular 40K gaming. It depends on the price of the Knights themselves (judging from their size, they should be no more than $125 at most), how many kits come with the codex, and how much I'm going to have to plead people to play against me.

If they don't pan out the way I hope, I'll just continue planning a 30K splurge. At least then I don't have to worry about getting a game - Escalation and Apocalypse really haven't caught on in my store, and an army of super heavies seems like it would exacerbate that issue. Eh, maybe I'll get lucky.
