    Default Crimson Fist Cosplay Series

Amazing Stuff! There are over 20 videos of him building the suit and taking it out to conventions.

Start with these two and then check out the others.

Praise the Emperor! I was wondering if there were some people doing "living" SM and there it is! Make a GREAT Sci-con outfit!

Those photos (especially the second one) look like they could be Codex covers.

Now I want a such a costume, but I know that a) I'm not tall enough and b) it probably costs way more than you'd think

    Hi all!

That's my Crimson Fist cosplay I'm very glad you like it!

Don't worry too much about your height. I'm not naturally 7ft tall either, I'm on stilts! For those interested, my material cost was roughly $1300. For anyone even more interested here is a link to the build thread:

    This suit is AWESOME!

I knew someone who did something like this (not 40k related) and used thrift store skis and ski boots for the foot mountings on the stilts. he basically cut down the skis to just the mountings and enough wood to attach them to the stilts. This way the ankle support and control are all built in and you can "click" in and out of the stilts easily.

Now to do my Grey Knights power armour...

That's nuts! Great work on this suit! Seems well proportioned and allows the wearer to move relatively naturally, compared to other cosplay SM armor I've seen.
