Does anyone know of a manufacturer making 28mm-sized "snake-men" models? Something like the [URL="http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440170a&prodId=prod1340 010a&rootCatGameStyle="]Sslyth[/URL] here, only sized similar to a regular Space Marine. I'm looking to build up an Alpha Legion-themed warband using the new Crimson Slaughter 'dex, and I would like to do something serpentine for my Possessed.

I did not find any when looking once, but I did find that you can get plastic snakes very cheaply. Cut out a few inches near the tail, run a thin wire through them for stability, and glue them under the torso section of a Possessed for its lower body.

And they're not cheap

Just had a quick look. They're actually quite big. Probably twice the height of a marine.

Still, for the Alphas, this is kinda hard to turn down...

FireHazard, that's actually almost perfectly scaled (pun intended?) to the standard Daemon Prince.

I may end up having to make a mould of some scaly texture and do the possessed using freehand milliput. I'd use the plastic snakes idea up above, but I'm worried that the jelly-rubber-ish texture won't take paint.

rackham ( rip ) did a range of ophidian models that where very nice you may be able to find some second hand ones in e bay

they are a little larger than a space marine and would need a little work to make them more 40 k but some very nice snake men they are

I thought about that, but that's going to be a bit big, yes? I though Ravenors were on the 40mm base vs. Possessed on 25mm. Might be where I go for Spawn though.
