    Default Imperial Knight Freeblade (w.i.p)

It's still very much a work in progress, but I thought I would share where I'm at with my 1st Knight.
The flame effect is very much inspired by the Legion of the Damned and I love the similarity in mythology between the knights and those flaming spectral marines. How they both can arrive in the direst of circumstances and turn the tide of war in favour of the Imperium.

This boys got a long way to go, I still have to do the helmet, arms and other plates and I will use different transfers to make him a unique Freeblade. Base I'm not sure yet but likely to be snow themed to match my gaming table.

More in about a week I guess

What kind of tape do you use on your model after you've primed it? I would very much like something I could use to mask off my models, but don't want to use something so strong that it tears off my primer.

Tamiya low tac masking tape is great, made especially for modelling.

This stuff is gold... love love love

You can also get a liquid Masking frisket. Apply it with brush, it will dry clear. Once you are done painting, remove the frisket and you are good to go.

If you have trouble seeing it, you can mix in some inks to color it so you can see exactly where the frisket is after its dried.
