Default Swords Of Davion (Jump Heavy Space Marines)

Seeing as i posted the army list up, i thought ill also post the pics of the army.

    bit of boring background info:

I got out of 40k shortly after 4th ed was released, however after playing epic i was bitten by the bug again.

The theme im running is a rebuilding chapter that lost most of its terminator and heavy armour, therefore they now rely on speed and finesse.
This provides me a perfect excuse to use my 3 favourite epic and 40k units, Jump pack marines, razorbacks and vindicators.

Hmmmm... "Swords of Davion"... I'm sensing a background in Classic Battletech, am I right?

The mini's themselves look good, though the fact that that shade of green is hauntingly familiar only heightens my suspcions. Good on you man.

It's highly off topic, but if you're interested in CBT, there's a free online simulator kicking around called MegaMek, which basically makes takes all the confusing rules and gives it to the computer to handle. Doesn't have all the super-advanced rules yet, so you can't do EVERYTHING, but it's a quick, easy, and fun way to get your feet wet, so to speak. Perhaps this deserves a thread of it's own.

And just so this post is not TOTALLY off topic, I like the conversions I see for the command staff. Is that a Wood Elf head on the Librarian?
