Its purple washed with scab red and a gloss to bring out the purple layering. My camera doesnt give it justice.

Updates! I had a little girl saturday and I had time during a nap to finish up.
I just have the shield and arms left wooo!
Congrats on having a little girl (now all the sleepless nights start)
And your paint job is amazing
Nearly done! Waiting for some impact looking missile explosions to hold the shield on, using sticky tack for now. I kind of like no decals, makes it look more like a loner.

Hopefully those parts can come in then ill get a light box for this bad boy.
Superb work. Lots of details and I love the standing on Lava rocks idea. Interesting take on a void shield. If I were to a make any suggestions (Which is not needed as overall it is a great model) I would use clear plastrux rods to support the void shield and coat the void shield field itself with 'Clear polarized transparent film' to give it a shimmering effect. Another possibility is to find mostly clear tinted lenses from old 'Elton John' style sunglasses as the lenses would be oddly huge. Trim the lenses as needed. (Just suggestions)
