Saw the greens and test model a while back but didn't know FW finally released the beastie. I love the head and spine protrusions and for once FW managed a really great paint job on something WFB related. However, overall I don't like the pose nor do I like the bling. Specifically the big rapper bling on its back drives me nuts.

It's just stunning. I'm sure the jewellery is going to be an optional extra, or at least I hope it is. If not, it'll probably be easily removed.

If the back bling is removable then I'd consider buying it for my Lizardmen at some point. If not, I have other projects I'd rather work than carving chunks of resin off and resculpting lizard-skin.

Let's hope the biggest trend is that FW will start releasing Fantasy stuff again. If nothing else I'd like to see them finish coming out with their Monstrous Arcanum critters and finish off the Chaos Dwarves. If they want to quit after that because HH is far more profitable... so be it. I won't like it, but I'm a only a single WFB fan.

That is just bad ***. A real dinosaur model for Lizardmen.

Aaaaaaaaiiiiieeeeeeeeggghhhhaaaaahhhh!!!! My head just exploded. I must have you...!!

But seriously I just got up for work and this made my morning. :-)

EDIT: sorry I'd just woke up and the coffee was way too strong. I have ZERO interest bar an Alpharius miniature, the heresy stuff myself so stuff like this is why I love forge world. Just annoyed War hammer forge takes a backseat. So much potential.

So buying the Dread Saurian. Most of the bling should be removable though it is amusing people are complaining about it given one of the criticisms of the WIP pictures we saw was the lack of bling.
Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!

I love it. And I told 'em so. As much as I love a lot of FW's models, it's rare when one actually stops me in my tracks. I might just have to get one to build and paint. I actually don't mind all the shinies, but I was toying with the idea of using it for something other than Lizardmen, hence my desire to 'unbling' it.

Well, I do play Lizardmen and I love the bling. Though, I'm sure someone will show up sooner or later with plans to field it as an Eldar exodite superheavy.
