Stronghold Assault Tactics for Farsight Enclaves

This really is for Mission 2 of the Stronghold Assault book playing as the attacker. I was curious if this was viable/did not in some manner make me lose automatically as opposed to the intention of winning (this is in a tournament setting) and Deep Striking Farsight with six of the Eight leaving the Broadside behind because he cannot Deep Strike and then 2D6ing off the table to collect an easy win with the D3x7 rolls because of seven IC's leaving off the table edge. I know there is the potential for this to backfire with rolling seven ones and losing 10-7, assuming no First Blood and Linebreaker for my opponent and no Slay the Warlord. Also has the potential for 21-10 for me.

I thought Farsights warlord trait was to not scatter on deep striking.

Kinda makes the tactic impossible...

Do explain? Farsight Deep Strikes to within an inch of the table edge and then proceeds to leave the table edge in the Assault Phase.

I read your first post as if you wanted to scatter 2d6 off the table edge. But it seems like you wanted to thrust move 2d6.
