One word - Ebay.... You can save a small fortune if you are careful. I got a Stompa for <50 quid, and a WraithKnight for <40. Stomp was painted and magnetised for ease of transit, Wraith just needed painting.
Astra Miliwotsit? You're in the Guard now son....

I seem to have acquired a load of superheavies:

    Baneblade
    Tower of Skulls
    Doomblaster
    Revenant Titan
    Skullhamma (Armorcast Banelblade)
    Tau titan (Chapterhouse)

plus some others that are packed up and forgotten for now...

Here's the Skullhamma in Blood Axe Winter camo!

Here's the Doomblaster before all the painting was done (I think I have a later photo somewhere)

Probably the most unexpected superheavies you hope to see: Dark Eldar superheavies (scratch build) !

Just used my new knight. It shot a land raider and flipped another in one turn lol.

They are fun but I can see why people wouldnt want to play against them.

Meh. I used mine in a 2k team game, and it got one-shotted on Turn Two. Of course, my opponent used a campaign-related insta-kill power that I hadn't known about when I made my list... I'm looking forward to using my Knight in a more "normal" game.

    Eldar:

    Phantom (armorcast)
    2 revenants (armorcast)
Tempest (armorcast) plays as a scorpion
    Scorpion (forgeworld)

    Reaver (armorcast)
    Warhound (armorcast)
    Baneblade/hellhamer (plastic gw)
2 more baneblade chassis kits unassembled (make the shadowsword among others)

Sadly I never get to play apocalypse.

I use to have four Baneblades...but I had to sell them.

Now I just have thirty-one Leman Russ Tanks to take instead.

    I have 2 Eldar superheavies.
    Scorpion II
    Lynx w/Sonic Lance
Imperial Knight Errant (also my first go at LEDs in a model-and they turned out awesome!)

I have magnetized the Pulsars on my Scorpion and the Sonic Lance on the Lynx for better transport...but also so I can swap out the Sonic Lance for a Pulsar on my Lynx!

The Scorpion was my only Super-Heavy until the Lynx came out. Now, unless the games are really big use the Lynx exclusively as the Scorpion just isn't worth the extra points imho.
