Where can I get model tree stumps / bases ?

Hi. I have a load of wire fir trees that I need to base. I was once given a handful of plastic model tree trunks with a base covered in roots that were absolutely perfect. They came from a model train enthusiast.

I have never seen anything like them for a sale though and 30mins spent searching online has only found me a wholesaler in China.

Does anyone know where I can get anything like this, preferably in the UK, but beggar's can't be choosers at this point !

I bought some once and they are nicely detailed but unfortunately useless for actually basing models on... trees however might work a bit better.
