    Default Horus Heresy Weekender Advice.

    Hey folks,
Just wondering if any veterans of the 2013 Horus Hersey Weekender in Nottingham had any advice to make the 2 days go smoothly?
What were your experiences, anything to avoid?
    Cheers in advance!

    I love Nottingham. It's great!

    Top tips?

Make sure your hotel room is defo paid for at point of booking. Mine wasn't, and I wound up with no spending money as a result

If you like Rock music - The Olde Salutation Inn is ace!

Yeah, Nottingham is pretty good. I'm less than an hour away and really should get over there more. Stopping with a mate who lives 10 mins away from the Belfry so should be ok!

    Packed lunch too!

Also if you want pre-release goodies, get there really, really early!

    Yup. It's cave-a-licious!

You know, if the commute was feasible, I'd live in Nottingham. Very nice city.

If I could get a decent job in my field in the U.K. I'd probably emigrate. The people who frequent Warhammer World better not take it for granted, because a really good night for me is some terrain borrowed from my FLGS so I can set up my Realm of Battle Board on my friends table. (Just got an Imperial Sector for my own terrain though!)

    Yup.

And with Warhammer World, you can play all sorts of opponents!

Interrogator Chaplain and I had a game there, and it was ace. Even if I was horribly hungover from the night before!

Will definitely advocate the bring food. We had to walk down the road for lunch at petrol station last year.

Though there is of course food on offer there, but it's a wee bit pricey as you might expect from a hotel. Decent amount like, but pricey.

Wish I was going this year, but finances just didn't allow it.
