Default Tournament scoring details - query

    Hi all,

I'm curious how the rest of the world scores / runs their tournaments. In Australia, we primarily have several elements (Generalship, Painting, Sportsmanship and possibly Comp depending on the event). We then normally do a swiss draw where players are then paired off against other players on a similar battle score (i.e. someone who has won two games would play someone else who has won two games rather than someone who has lost two games).

Just curious if this format is common or not.

In smaller tournaments that is common in the uk however
Thrown of skulls is bigger so to allow for a quicker method of processing large numbers of results they use a simpler system. Match ups are random and where in some small tournies margin of victory contributes to score it is 3 for a win 1 for a draw. So at thrown you can table your foe turn one or snatch a objective with your last troop end of turn 7 . Still scores the same
