I've been struggling with lighting for my minis, so I finally ordered a Foldio light box from Orange Monkie (subject of a recent kickstarter campaign).

In general, I'm really pleased with the photos taken with the Foldio. It is also very quick to set up, and creates an uncluttered space for photography, since the aren't a lot of electrical cables around (it comes with its own LCD light strips, powered by 9-volt batteries). But the whole things turned out to be quite expensive, because as sold, the Foldio doesn't include nearly enough of these light strips.
