    Default Open University?

    How do.

Just wondering if anyone has studied an OU course.

I'm seriously contemplating doing some home study, ideally in the area of Iron Age Britain and Archaeology.

Costs wise I can get a bursary through work. Main concern is how realistic a home study degree balanced with a full time job is.

    Anyone?

Do it, academia is its own reward!

They say part time courses are scheduled for about 20hours work a week, that is a bit of a conservative estimate, though individual circumstances vary.

Also, do not just look at OU, though there is nothing wrong with them, a lot of institutions do distance learning courses that do not require you to ever have a physical presence at the institute.
