Default Grey knight Dreadknight and terminators

I did this conversion of my dreadknight, based on the Spanish GD winner of a few years ago:

All bits are from the dreadknight kit EXCEPT one: a handle from the heavy bolter sidesponsons of a valkyrie. I did use some 5mm plastic tubing and 2mm brass rod to extend the barrel on the flamer and pistons.

Even without the conversion it'd look stunning. I really like the blue wash/highlight.

The original that inspired me, in case somebody didn't see this beauty yet...

I love the 'wash-light' too! Then again, I love everything about this model... Kudos to you, sir/madam!

Well, the blue is just plain old Guilliman blue glaze.

I aply a reasonably thin coat and then use a second, damp brush to remove any staining where I don't want it. Pretty straightforward, but looks great for GKs. It does seem to be a bit brighter than my previous watered down blue wash that GW had, but I like it as well.... more vibrance to this one.

I have some terminators finished as well. These were also treated with guilliman blue glaze, but thinned with 1 part glaze, 2 parts satin varnish and 1 part water. This mixture was then applied with an airbrush and allowed to pool quite a bit on the armor for the blue tinting. I think I'm going to stick with that method now...
