Default If Chaos gods listened to metal...

So, i just had a few beers with my friends and we somehow ended up having this ridiculous, but fun discussion...
If Chaos gods listened to metal, what would their favourite bands/songs be..?
After some time of debating we came up with the following conclusion:

Khorne - Regurgitate (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpP6qJdKZxM)
Tzeentch - Cynic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3eig5K3hdI)
Nurgle - Sunn O))) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIR1KfKXH6s)
Slaanesh - Theatres des vampires (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTkgwpPQ-eo)

What do you think? Let me see some other suggestions...
Of course it doesn't have to be metal if you find something more appropriate

If nothing else we might find out about some interesting bands this way.

Slaanesh wouldn't listen to metal; she's a man of wealth and taste.

She'd listen to stuff that made you uncomfortable in ways you couldn't quite put your finger on.

Okay, maybe some metal...

Tzeentch is trickier...

Khorne is easy:

No band has every been composed of pure rage to the same extent as Skunk Anansie. I saw them live, Skin jumped into the crowd, and everyone, all these big metallers just panicked and ran, because the first thought they had wasn't "Oh. she wants to crowd surf", it was "I AM LITERALLY GOING TO DIE." Easily the scariest front to a band of all time. No exceptions. Okay, maybe G.G Allin, but he was legitimately, totally for-real, 'lock this guy in a padded room' actually insane, so I don't think he counts.

Not sure what I'd do for Nurgle. Maybe something from 'Repo: The Genetic Opera'.

I think Sunn O))) is more of a sonic blaster slaneeshish sorta types, they came to play the club I do sound at which is only a 200 person room, so smaller than they normally play. easily the most physical loud experience ive gotten to do there

Hawkwind for Tzeentch and his psykering and magicfullness all thanks to calvert/moorcock (gonna get to open for Turner's Hawkwind in the fall)

Venom for Khorne, theyre the only ones who are ready for battle and wear enough red spiked leather, I assume that bezerkers hangout watching live venom concerts getting amped up for centuries at a time

Gwar for Nurgle, so many fluids, just so much liquid everywhere and through the'yre lore they are all demon princes of pestilence and filth

Heh yeah I see your train of thoughts )

We, however were not thinking of bands which reminded of us of the gods, but were trying to match the type of music with their characters..

Khorne - something plain simple brutal, aggressive and messy...
Tzeentch - a more progressive sound, complex and difficult rhythm, + Cynics creepy "alienish" amped vocals also fit in well..
Nurgle - Slow stuff.. A lazy/boring tune representing entropy, decay and stagnation.
Slaanesh - This one is difficult, but generally it should be extremely emotionally charged music..

Btw, lol at
Venom for Khorne, theyre the only ones who are ready for battle and wear enough red spiked leather, I assume that bezerkers hangout watching live venom concerts getting amped up for centuries at a time
P.S. what are you playing?

Khorne (probably the easiest): stuff like Cannibal Corpse, early Carcass, Death (scream Bloody Gore!), Bloodbath

Nurgle: Obituary (Slowly We Rot), Grave, probably also Cannibal Corpse

Tzeentch: Blotted Science, Cynic, Meshuggah, Tool

Slaanesh: probably some sexy goth metal like Type O Negative. +1 on the Rammstein suggestion too! Though I mostly reckon Slaanesh would be into EBM and industrial instead of metal.

Tzeentch, with their love of birds, would clearly listen to HATEBEAK - the death metal band fronted by a parrot:

I don't know about the others but I'm pretty sure this is playing on a constant loop in the Garden of Nurgle...

Got to give you YorkNecromancer. You've picked out some belting songs (more so for Garbage and Skunk Anansie )

Slaanesh in my mind would rock some Dubstep...
