Could not afford to make event this year. Very sad.
A friend is going, however, and they just sent me this...
"The new Games Day is called Warhammerfest, will be held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry over the Saturday & Sunday of the 11th/12th October, the Golden Demon bit will be on the Sunday, tickets will be £20/day"

Oh I was wondering about that, 'Games Day' isn't very distinctive really, with the recent push to rebrand everything GW in more distinctive terms I wondered in Games Day would be renamed or if it would jsut be dropped.

Just to reiterate, Warhammerfest on 11th and 12th October, which means Armies on Parade will not be part of 'Warhammerfest'. Last year each regional winner won a ticket to Games Day to compete for the overall National winner. This year Parade day is on 25th October, after Warhammerfest and therefore will not be contested as part of the event. guess I should have made the effort to go last year.
Funny though that they've gone for a two day event after downsizing the event last year. Clearly there must have been a good deal from Coventry to make it profitable.
