I'll admit, I've said "Praise the Machine God" and kinda-sorta meant it before, once with a lawn mower and once with a computer. Both times, they died mysteriously, none of the standard troubleshooting worked (gas, sparkplugs / resetting wires and power-cycling), and then later on they started working again. While I'm sure there's a reasonable, scientific explanation for what happened, it can't hurt to cover all the bases, can it?
