Found any rules/wordings that contradic these?

Even better... imperial priests are not even fearless. They have the Zealot special rule which lets them auto-pass tests. No single word of fearless.

The Serpent Shield proves that there can be a piece of wargear that fires like a weapon, benefits from rules that affect other weapons, but be immune to weapon destroyed results.

Is it? Has that been FAQ'd that way? My take is that if it's 'a weapon' or 'fires as a weapon' then if you want to get the T/L from the scatter laser I want to be able to shoot the bugger off; it's only fair considering how OP it is.
Astra Miliwotsit? You're in the Guard now son....

Another thing (for what it's worth) to keep in mind is that, even if the unit is fearless, you still get to hit them with a STR1 AP- blast (woohoo!)... so that might occasionally do something.
It's "hit", not "wound". This... is awesome.
