Chexmix's 2nd ed Tyranids!

n anticipation for the new Tyranids Codex next month, I have decided to finally put together one of my longest anticipated projects ever - 2nd edition Tyranids!

Getting my hands on the models wasn't easy, but I managed to get a small force together of some Termagants and Warriors.

The warriors were in pretty rough shape, but the Termagants were in great condition. Here are the Termagants after paint:

I really like the color scheme! I wanted to go with something that looks like it came from 2nd edition 40k, but with modern basing and more subdued colors. In other words, a little more grimdark

What do my fellow loungers think of my color and basing choices? The bases were done with the new GW texture paints and a few layers of drybrushing. Any critiquing is welcomed!
