Cats. Love. Plastic. I do not know why, but if there's a cat and a piece of plastic in the same building, the plastic *will* receive a licking at some point. Also, because they're cats, if the plastic would make a noise when licked, it won't get licked until you're trying to sleep.

Cats also prefer to drink out of moving water (such as a fishtank where the water flows out the filter) and will drink out of even algae heavy water if it's moving instead of a clean but not moving bowl of clean water

yep, our Seberian Cat just adores the tap, he'll lick it for hours getting every single drip out of it, his water dish though, he likes to drop his cats litter into it for fun!
