Hard to imagine a leopard stopping your breathing in a manner that could be fixed with some chest compressions. I mean, maybe shock, but the actual uses for CPR are incredibly narrow.

    There's always one

Maybe you'll see them as things to throw at the deathwatch

Well, unless the alternative is a pair of Crocs. Even then I'd just go barefoot.
The point of flip-flops is to stop the molten bitumen from adhering to your feet as you move from the carpark to the beach. Anything more enclosing would require a free hand to put on or remove, and your hands are full of surfboard and beach towel.

I just love the myth of Persephone, i mean the real, original version of it, because it’s not like she got kidnapped, no, this ***** was la-de-da-ing in a meadow and she just happened to find an entrance to the Underworld and she was like “Imma check this out”. And she just wanders into the Underworld and discovers that hey this place ain’t too bad.

Meanwhile Hades is in the background “????? UM??? PRETTY GIRL??? WHY ARE YOU HERE?????? YOU AREN’T DEAD???”

And Persephone (who was originally called Kore just a little fyi) just looked at him and said “I like it here. I’m staying.”

And Hades kinda just went with it, until Demeter started throwing the temper tantrum of the millenium upstairs and Zeus had to intervene because this **** was getting out of hand and its actually his job to be admistrator of justice. Which considering the **** he gets up to is kinda histerical but that’s another story there.

And basically Persephone wasn’t a prisoner or kidnap victim at all she just really loved the Underworld and her (eventual) husband, and the Greeks feared her arguably more than her husband because Hades could be reasoned with but Persephone was the one laying the smack down on sinners, and really, who wouldn’t be at least a little scared of someone who’s name means something along the lines of “the destroyer”

Basically, Persephone is amazing and everbody needs to get on her level

    Lets hope so!

I think a lot of minor-xenos could be done with as little as 2 standard kits and a single clampack (infantry, vehicle, HQ) and just cram as many unit types as you can into each. You can make some of them allied to Tau or Chaos too, to encourage cross-sales. If your clever you can still make those units visually distinctive too I think. Always thought it was stupid there are only 5 playable alien races in the whole game too, while you have an absolute crap ton of imperial and a few chaos. I don't actually mind there being so many imperial factions though, I just think there should be more xenos to balance things and compensate and release sizes like that see manageable and fair to me.

Something I've noticed many are unaware of, but in many parts of ancient Greece it was a tradition for the husband to 'kidnap' his bride and carry her to his house. The bride's family would go to get her back and he had to hold them off, to prove his ability to defend her. So Hades kidnapping Persephone didn't necessarily mean he was kidnapping her, it could also be read the pair of them were in agreement and deliberately rendezvoused to let him carry out the ritual. (And since Demeter went into a genuine rage it suggests they eloped.)

    The inverse:

WRITING A LENGTHY OTP FANFICTION AND IT'S JUST BEFORE THEY KISS AND YOU HIT ONE OF THEM WITH A CAR AND YOUR READERS ARE SCREAMING IN ANGUISH AT THEIR SUFFERING
