I used to love the bat house at chester zoo cause if you stood still the sometimes landed on you, but they have staff in there now telling you to keep moving

Yeah that's cool too, but it lacks bats.

I went to Edinburgh Zoo this year and I saw the Chimpanzees and they were funny and then I went inside and I saw more Chimpanzees including a Mummy Chimpanzee with a teeny tiny baby Chimpanzee that was all smol and clingy and Daddy Chimpanzee was standing guard I think he was the leader of the Chimpanzees because he looked well hench and silver and strong and grumpy and was standing guard I think I read that he had recently received a challenge from another boy Chimpanzee for leadership so I don't know if his standing guard was typical behaviour or because his status wasn't as secure as normal I liked it and I like Chimpanzees.

The last zoo I went to was Blackpool and it was awful.
The elephants were in too small an enclosure with not enough stuff and all showed stressed behaviour. One appeared to stand in the same spot and rock all day( was there doing it every time we walked past)
The small walk through monkey enclosure had staff in it that appeared to be enjoying chasing the monkeys with spray bottles even when they weren't particularly near anyone.
Good zoos are good for people and the animals. Bad zoos are awful.
