And here's a kitten not wanting to be woken from her snuggly cherry pie bed while cuddling her teddy bear for all the sleepyheads out there

now this is one cool Kitty who KNOW's she owns the place!

See, now why can't more spiders be cute and fuzzy like that? The only ones we have where I live are these ugly brown lumps who glare at me when I do a batch of laundry.

All I ever come across are Wolf Spiders, which are far too lean and predatory looking to survive on my bedroom wall without being cupped and taken outside. Not to mention last Summer when the buggers had a freakish spawning season and were massive and bloody everywhere.

My pet tarantula, Helga is a sweetie and will let people pet her. She's cured about 12 people of arachnophobia in the several years I've kept her. kids seem to love her too.

She wears a pink bow sometimes :


She has black fuzzy feet you can "shake hands" with :


More Helga Facts :
She has dozens of fans, most of them are female.

She has a polystyrene ball that she plays with - occasionally she'll dump it her in water-dish and push it about in the water.

She lets me know she is hungry by knocking her tunnel over or proping it up somehow.

She's terrified of mealworms and when we first got her she decided to stack the mealworms in a corner away from her.

Sometimes She likes to stand on her tip-toes and push her butt up in the air.

She's rubbish at catching her food, but when she does, she will do a "victory dance" by walking around in a circular motion shaking her butt left and right.

She's terrible at climbing, she gets halfway then slides down hopelessly - then goes to sulk in her tunnel.

If you stroke her in your hand, She will get comfy then fall asleep, enjoying the warmth of your hand.
