Challenge FAILED

Corpse Cart now basecoated, and I have an idea for my 'Casket of Souls'...

never mind ACE01, self set challanges are often doomed to fail any way, so let's hear about these ideas for your casket model then... after all your zombo's need a nice big centre piece model to die again for on the battle field

Thanks Darren. Perhaps they are, but I did get way more painting done in a week than I have this year, so that really did help. It's great to have commenters to keep the pressure on, as it means I'm publicly accountable for failing!


Right then, the Casket. Even though I have one already...

Take 1 80x80mm base section left over from the making of my movement trays.
Add 1 'Tipi' Idol from Skull Pass to represent the Casket.
Add 2 fanatics as the killing blow Tomb Guard.

The idol would be 'possessed' and would therefore fight as the casket keeper...

If anyone has the tied up BFSP Dwarf spare/for trade/sale then I'll use him as an offering on the base...

You know he seems to be a very hard to find bugger, every set I try and get off of eBay always has him missing....

Not really important, sure I'll come up with something!

As an aside, the list's first run out met with a resounding tabling of the opposition (8 Ironguts, 5 Ogres, Slaughtermaster and 3 Leadbelchers). Enjoyable game, more so with most of the horde painted!

I am now, however, getting dangerously excited about an elf army...
