After some reseach based upon suggestions in this thread I must yield to the act that my initial specs for the flyer were nigh impossible to meet.
Two fyers from gw and possibly one from fw are the ones to turn to. AM Vendettas for lowest price + TL lascannons or SW stormfang/stormwolf for tough TL multimelta platform. FW storm eagle sounds interesting and more so as a 'roc-pattern' version.. for this i havent found rules yet though.

IA 12 Fall of Orpheus or IA2 2ndEd Warmachines of the Adeptus Astartes - I'd recommend the latter since it also has the rather neat Grey Knights Doomglaive Dreadnought and is a brilliant ressource all around.
