    Default Yorkshire Gamers

My normal gaming buddy has decided to quit 40k as he doesn't like gw's direction post wd monthly. There are a few gamers knocking around in my social group but they are all pretty much occasinal players. So I'm looking for local (Yorkshire) opponents. I'm primarily a Raven Guard player of both 30&40k, however I also have a Space Wolf army. I can go up to around 20,000pts but obviously I'm looking for more regular sized games. Any takers?

You'll probably have more luck if you're a bit more specific. Though I think there's a gaming club in Chesterfield that's quite sizeable, and that's just out of Yorkshire.

Well..... I'm looking mainly for standard sized games 1500/2000pts I guess, having said that with heresy we generally play 2500. I'm mobile so can get to gw stores, clubs, or I have an 8x4 table at home. My army is pretty kitted up as I could be called a veteran player (first played rogue trader). Problem I have is being self employed I find it hard to get to club nights regularly.

I meant geography Yorkshires a big place
Good look though, I fell out of playing for the same sort of reason and am so far behind on hobby stuff beyond acquiring more for the small mountain of grey plastic.

Must admit that I'm pretty much a 40k addict. Full battle company, three extra assault squads, half a scout company, few squads of terminators, storm wing, storm eagle, couple of full strength bike squads... You know average little army!!!

I normally am a fan of Trish's sculpts, she's done some awesome stuff for forgeworld. BUT the s&m studded tiara wearing thing will never grace my legion. I've only waited all my gaming life for Raven Guard to get some real love, then they make that.
