Meh. Never been a fan of the "Slave Leia" thing, and I wish there was more cosplay of Leia as a kickass fighter (and politician). I feel like Lucas only did that to Leia to add "sex appeal" into RotJ, even while he put in the Ewoks to have something "cute" to sell to kids.

Schumer's photo shoot only upset me because she was trying to use the popularity of Star Wars to help herself get attention, which really just says she apparently doesn't have enough talent to get attention with her work. Trying to "sex it up" was just to get more attention.

I'm hoping with the new movies, they'll avoid any of that "sexiness" stuff, at least in Episodes 7-9. Yes, a lot of us watching will be adults, but the core films should remain a family friendly affair. You want to do a side movie or series that has all kinds of scantily clad Twi'lek and human dancers? Okay, fine. I'm hoping for some "mature" side movies and stuff (though "mature" meaning more like the X-Wing series of comics and books, not soft porn). But the central movies should still be something you feel comfortable sharing with your kids.

I feel like an old man just saying that.
