Why do you think he didn't want to join the rebellion Mystery?

It's actually a really good book trilogy that gives her and Han a heap of character development and ends up making him the more passive partner in the relationship really and even has her death come after three books of aforementioned development and doesn't do it just to give Han feels. But that's what you get when you let an excellent female author write your books.

There was some of that sure, but also his previous dealings with it.
I recommend that trilogy (han solo trilogy, the paradise snare, the hutt gambit, rebel dawn) they are some of the better EU books, I've probably reread the third nearly as many times as I've read the bacta war (my favourite xwing book )

Yup, up there with the Thrawn trilogy and some of the better X-Wing books and way above most of the EU stuff.

The Thrawn trilogy is the standard against which all others are judged...
