Well i finally got the first model of my new Tyranids done! I have decided to go for a color scheme that looks like it is from a Dark planet. I will update as i get more painted but here is the all mighty Hive Crone! (Still working on its base mind you, i am thinking of picking up some Big Crystal stones like that come in the GW Necron basing kit)

My buddy showed me the easy way to do it after i spent 2 hours yelling at it............. Turns out a nice coat of Sotek green with a heavy dry brush of Temple Guard Blue does wonders............... Originally Posted by daboarder

Honestly when i first started playing that was one of the coolest schemes i loved (6-7 years Ago...) so i just changed it up a bit! I am currently stuck on what color of rocks\gems to use on the base.... Originally Posted by Captain Bubonicus

I don't mean to be nit picky but the inside of the vents needs paint. Perhaps in the spirit of the season you could put a tiny brand logo (Perhaps Dr. Pepper) inside, then you'd have an ad vent.
