    Default painting epic marines

I recently aquired an old copy of "space marine" and added some upgrade units such as terminators and character packs. Since all of the rhinos, land raiders and dreads I have are old styles, I was thinking of making the army Luna Wolves. I have painted a number of armies for 40k but never epic and I was looking for some guidance on undercoating, inking, etc. due to the small size.

Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreiciated

I paint all my models using drybrushing. Several layers can be easily added to them without problems. My LatD infantry for example are painted with probably 4 layers on average.

I've never used inks, but do know that people are using them a lot. I'd suggest checking out following threads (in another forum unfortunately) for some inspiration in general

Why are these almost all about chaos ... ? Very odd.

thanks for the info, I used to do a lot of drybrushing on my 40k stuff but have gotten away from it, good reminder

    Drybrushing works great on Epic.

Start with a diluted basecoat brush on, give it a wash, drybrush, and pick out a few details and your ready for gaming.
