I have a feeling the rumour of new khorne berzerkers and such was instead related to this fantasy release with this new bloodthirster instead.

the rumour of new bezerkers comes fromt Steve the Warboss, same guy that rumoured the Thirster, he stated that the zerkers were being released around the time of the end times book to tie into the release of the thirster and the fantasy khorne models. IE: we just sold the fantasy players a thrister, lets try inspire some new zerker armies in 40k at the same time.

I'll admit, I didn't buy his rumours before, but I'm hesitantly optimistic now

At a (somewhat educated) guess they're probably shots taken from a printing/layout test and the boxes are there to obscure the image so the inevitable leak isn't showing the whole deal.

Kind of tempted. Even though I don't play Daemons, and find Khorne dull, these are looking like phenomenal kits.

Likewise. My office at work is some kind of repurposed room, and where they've filled in a half-wall with some plywood it's left a little "shelf" that's useless for keeping anything you actually want on, because you have to lean over the desk to a dangerous degree to reach it, but would be perfect for a big, daemonic "you don't want to be near this desk" model.
