    Default Tactic questions for Mechanicum

Will be facing a 750pt necron list with my Mechanicum. What should I expect and what would you recommend are must units for the Mechaincum? As a side note, I can take 30k Iron Hands allies and have access to a Sicaran. My mechanicum are Thagmata.

A thanatar should work good vs crons. Your toughtness 8 doesn't care about strength 4 gauss.

    Thanatar's been mentioned.

Also, Myrmidon Destructors, all armed with Volkite Culverins. If they shoot at a squad of ten Necrons, they are essentially guaranteed to obliterate it whether it's in cover or not. Myrmidon Destructors have freakishly scary levels of long-range firepower: BS 5 with a re-roll, four shots each, wounding on 2s, each successful wound then generating a new one... and all at 48" with Relentless. There is literally no better long-range anti-infantry squad in all of 40K.

I thought about that. My only concern with Mechanicum is the lack of bodies against the Necrons. Would you just blob tech thrall zombies? My other option is IH allies, sticking Orth in a Sicaran and mow everything down.
